Katie practiced as a commercial lawyer for about twelve years in some large, well known law firms in Sydney and in London. From 2009 to 2012 she was a commercial and business advisor to a number of small businesses. She has a Bachelor of Economics and Laws and also a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance. Patricia Holdings is a business that has been owned by Katie's family since 1988 (almost 30 years!) and by Katie since 2013. She has worked with and in the business for more than seven years.

Stacey Mannell

Stacey has been with Patricia Holdings for almost three years. Having proved herself as an integral member of our team, she has an extensive understanding of company incorporations and secretarial services and has a wealth of knowledge in ASIC requirements and processes. As well as being another skilled Company Incorporation and Trust Deed Consultant, Stacey also acts a duty stamping officer with Revenue NSW and Victorian SRO. She is our full function Accounts Officer and is currently studying Accounting. Stacey is capable and experienced in all aspects of the services we provide.

Johnathan has over 16 years’ experience in business development, sales and marketing. During his career he has been working across such industries as real estate, media and eCommerce. Originally from Sydney, Johnathan has been working in Shanghai, China from 2002 until early 2018. During this period of time he founded a food-tech start-up and mastered Mandarin to fluency. He was also accepted into two global accelerator programs including Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) Accelerator and Startup Leadership Program (SLP).

Dylan Taylor

Dylan Taylor is a recent graduate of a Bachelor of Laws and Commerce from the University of Canterbury (NZ). Dylan has commenced with Patricia Holdings as a Company Incorporation and Trust Deed Consultant. He is an avid fan of both codes of Rugby and all forms of Cricket.

Teagan Wood is a Client Services Administrator for Patricia Holdings. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Criminology at Western Sydney University. She has previously been employed in customer service, specifically in the retail and hospitality industries, and is looking forward to applying these skills to her current position. To relax, Teagan likes to go hiking in the Royal National Park and she also enjoys reading a good book.

Katie McGovern purchases the business after working in it for a number of years.

Patricia Holdings launches its first website.

The McGoverns purchase the business.

1980's

Patricia Holdings' name was licensed to an unrelated party for use in Queensland (when registries were State based and before the invention of the Internet!)

1968

Patricia Holdings is founded. The original owner was a businessman who experienced frustration with the amount of time it took him to establish companies. Back in the days before the internet, the process was slow and laborious. He decided to set up a number of companies and put them on his "shelf" so they were ready whenever he needed them. He knew other business people would have the same problem and decided to on-sell these companies to other people. The new owner would be able to use the company immediately - it didn’t matter that the regulator at the time took a couple of weeks to record the transfer of ownership and so the shelf company in Australia was born.
