Company Registration

While a Not-For-Profit Pty Ltd company is set up to pursue charitable purposes, this does not mean it is a charity. Charities must be registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) and endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) for certain tax concessions. There are further requirements imposed by the ACNC and ATO with regards to the entity’s constitution. If looking to set up a charity, you would need to seek independent legal advice about these requirements and making changes to the company documents provided to you by Patricia Holdings. Please consider setting up a Company Limited by Guarantee, to register with the ACNC.
